Concert Review: Dean Lewis Goes Springsteen At LPR
At LPR, Dean Lewis gave off a Springsteen vibe that hypnotized his fans. When we talk about “getting real” and “being authentic,” at times, we have the tendency to confuse telling our stresses, anxieties, or igniting hidden dramas as being truthful. Yet, for this Aussie, life has been pretty great. His biggest problem has been the loves that didn’t last, but, luckily, he always has a lot to love.
From “Be Alright” to “A Place We Knew,” every song felt divided between a nostalgic look at the good once had and an exciting hope for the good to come. For Dean Lewis, people come into your life to teach you how to love better those that will come after them. It is a gorgeous thought that every person enters your world, at different times, to mature you for greater relationships. Such a theme drizzled into songs such as, “7 Minutes,” “Waves,” and “Let Go.” The sweet irony is that Lewis’ voice feels steady as he sings to the revolving nature of love.
Dean Lewis – Need You Now (Official Video)It may sound strange like a strange description, but there is a hopefulness to Dean’s vocality. He makes you want to call a vocal note “bright-eyed;” as if to sing was the equivalent to smiling or smirking, which he does a lot. Talking about road trips and loved ones, Dean is casually chatty like, a the guy who sees you alone at a party and says, “Hi, how are you? I’m Dean!” His natural warmth infuses into his songs to make even his “sad ones” feel optimistic. Yet, this falls back to his rotating, romantic verses and rolling melodies that encompass a unique truth about life: love, technically, never leaves your life if it is always entering it, as well.
Dean Lewis – Be Alright (Official Video)With his guitar at hand and laughter on deck, Dean Lewis was a complete charm. He felt grounded, which was perfect considering his guitar led tracks grow like trees from soil. He build his arrangements like one does a thought: hoping to find a bigger, more meaningful conclusion. Yet, what won everyone over was that h is having a really good, fun life and is using his music to make sure you do, as well. For More Information On Dean Lewis Click Here.
