Concert Review: Pabst Begins A Basement Series, And It Is Lit!
Pabst Blue Ribbon has long been the choice drink for any frat party or after-hours bar “shindig” looking to stay till the morning. It is the choice drink, in part, because it cheap and strong. HOW CAN THAT GO WRONG?! It can’t and it gets better became, now, Pabst has a concert series. YOU HEARD THAT RIGHT! And their first artist was Maliibu Miitch.
Admittedly, Maliibu Mitch did not get to the show until late, but she KILLED it on the mic and turned the event into a booty shaking competition. Though her presence was, obviously, welcomed; that party was pretty lit before she came. DJ Dylan Ali’s mixing of Hip Hop, Reggae, and Dancehall fantasies ignited the inaugural of The Basement Series, which was in a literal basement. Moreover, it reminded me of the my high school, house parties in the BX. It was magnificent . People were dancing an posing with their Pabst as if they were popped bottles of Cristal or the Grey Goose bottles with sparklers on them. The point is that Pabst was able to make the accessibility of their drink feel exclusive through their series.

I got to try the Pabst Extra and it was EXTRA. This strong beer hits you like horse tranquilizer mid-marathon; it is an instant buzz for anyone looking to feel influenced as they try to twerk, of which you might need to be. Yet, the introduction of said beer was casually “eventful.” Suddenly, the beer the you pluck from your local Bodega fridge felt essential for every dance-off you had with your friends or selfie photoshoot you swore was necessary to remember the night’s fashion choices; both of which occurred. People felts really luxurious, and all Pabst did was take a space and offer them everything they could get for themselves: friends, a basement, a Hip Hop playlist, and a bunch of cheap beer. Frankly, I can’t wait till the next event. Click Here for More Details.
