Festival Preview: Greatest Day Ever Aims To Live Up To Its Name
Greatest Day Ever aims to blend EDM royalty with Hip Hop’s brightest stars over a Carnival Setting . Yet, Greatest Day Ever, on July 13 and 14, is actually a weekend event. Where your current adulthood gets to meet your inner child, and unabashedly celebrate the other’s music choices.
Just picture it! Your getting your funnel cake and watching Metro Boomin spit one of his sickest rhymes or you on the Ferris wheel watching Alison Wonderland mix a set that could leave you spinning. The best musical acts are lining up in a place that we all have or are bound to visit: a carnival. Between rides and the most delicious foods to brazenly counter a nutritionist’s advice, Greatest Day Ever is an event to let the rules go and let your inner kid play. Moreover, I have reviewed some of these acts, independently. From Kittens to Key N Krates, they are worth a ticket alone, but then you add artists like Tory Lanez or point me to the nacho station, and it seems like Greatest Day Ever is true to its title.
There are so many festivals this season, and what I like about Greatest Day Ever is that it gives you a breather between the “same sounds”. If you are not feeling the EDM, you can go to Hip Hop and club at its stages that are more lit than a Macy’s Fireworks Display. Strobes zoom over you as if you are interplanetary, and you will be if you are witnessing the performances Stefflon Don, Majid Jordan, AND Valentino Khan to name a few. Yet, if you need a break, they have got rollercoasters, slides, carnival games to win your lover a teddy bear. Yes, this is a kid’s dream of what being twenty-something would be like, and you get to live it at The New York Expo in The Bronx. Click Here To Buy Tickets! By the way, the rides are included with tickets…. they are not extra!!! Yeah!!! I know!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOHOOOO!!!
