I really like Charity Daw, and she exemplifies what I hope to be the future of the music industry: motherhood. From Meghan Trainor to Cardi B, we have women openly ¨momming¨ in front of everyone, which is amazing, considering the industry is still pretty hesitant on whether women in their 30´s and with kids can bang out a pop hit. Yet, the likes of SZA and Rina Sawayama, are also proving your 30s i may have been considered ¨old¨ in 1938. We have entered an era where people are pushing more to be layered, rather than labeled, and Charity is very much on that journey.
