TV Review: Gen V Gives A Gen Z Twist To The Boys
Out on Amazon Prime, Gen V is an exceptional show, and I was kind of surprised that despite its raunch and violence, like its parent series, The Boys, it oddly feels more grounded. If The Boys is an outlandish romp commenting on our relationship with media and the price of ¨feeling¨ special, Gen V is a commentary on the price of being ¨young¨ and under the dumb of way more powerful and sinister adults. With a cast, filled with exceptional performances, including a scene stealing Patrick Schwarzenegger, the series is a breezy binge-watch and totally deserving of a Season 2.
In the video above, I do some ASMR Reiki, as I compare the refreshing ways Gen V differs from The Boys, while also plucking and fluffing your aura with empowerment.
