Album Review: Mumford & Sons Hit The “Delta” of Hope
Mumford & Sons is hitting their 10th year as a highly successful band because not many do optimism quite like them. They make life feel like a marathon you can win, of which running down the road is the equivalent to dancing towards Heaven. Their ability to churn hope from hopelessness is at its pinnacle with Delta.
After so much success and with each member building a family and home for themselves, Mumford & Sons are proof life can get better, but the point is that it is always mysterious. For all that you gain, there is always more to learn, of which “Guiding Light,” “Wild Heart,” “42,” and “Delta” sing to the constant seeking you will always do even if you are settled. Their verses are like snapshots of love being tossed into the air with the stars, of which you look at both to see how your relationships can shine even in the cosmic night.
Mumford & Sons – Guiding Light (Lyric Video)
Our inner, undying curiosity for life and the ones we love are what keeps us young, and moves Mumford & Sons’ sound to feels like arena folk. Suddenly, the banjo can helm a rock anthem, and flowering harmonies can be as exhilarating as sports chants. Delta proves Mumford & Sons are aware of their richness, of which they have amplified their soft, inclusive, and romantic verses with guitar melodies that flow like rivers. From “Picture This” to “Beloved” or “Forever,” they show how stabilizing romance can be as you grow in wisdom. While learning is not always a fun process, but Marcus Mumford’s feels like a helping hand.
Mumford & Sons – If I Say (Lyric Video)
Mumford has a voice tilled in soil, and ready to blossom every tree of knowledge you could need to think better. Thus, from “The Wild” to “Darkness Visible,” his vocals feel like a prodigious and professorial like, a hermit that leaves sage advice for every town he crosses. With a worldwide tour lining up, Delta is DEFINITELY an album to hear live. You can tell that this record was made with concerts in mind. Certain hooks and choruses feel prepped and propped to be sung by masses of people that want to sing in unison to better times. To Buy Mumford & Sons Delta On November 16 Click Here.
