Artist Close-Up: Kyd The Band Is “Human”

Kyd The Band has gone from California to Nashville; seeking his own sound in the pop world. It may seem like a weird thing to want to be original and mainstream, but it is everyone’s goal to have their uniqueness be appealed and consumed by masses. Kyd The Band is about to achieve such a feat with his debut single: Human.

Kyd the Band – Human

I love the verses of “Human.” It, literally, is the sung equivalent to “people are people.” At least once, we have justified the worst of humanity as “human.” For some reason that excuse, especially in terms of love, feels appeasing. If we make this person’s cruelty or disappointing ways appear like DNA, then it seems oddly less hurtful or personal. As Kyd sings to this false/felt truth, his smooth vocality edges an empathy between him and the listener. Moreover, you can feel how Nashville influenced his Cali pop by taking the sunshine state’s chilled rhythms and giving them the rolling nature of Tennessee’s drawl.  For More Information On Kyd The Band Click Here.
