Artist Close-Up: Oxlade Is Singing The Negativity “Away”
When I hear Oxlade, I feel so GOOD! His rhythms remind me that life is meant to be something that moves you, and after you hear “Away” you will understand what I mean. You can’t help but start dancing.
The FIRST single off his upcoming DEBUT, “Away” is ABSOLUTELY exceptional and purposeful. It paints Oxlade as a man with a message for dreamers and those that try to tear them down: let us fly away. Singing from the Cape Coast, Oxlade is aiming to be an international superstar and I hope his aim becomes realized, especially if his goal is to spread messages that uplift while making us dance to the ground.
As you watch the video above, his smooth voice and easy-going personality are emblematic of why I am excited that companies, like Apple Music, are realizing that Africa deserves respect and notice for what is has always offered the world: riches.
