I had the absolute pleasure to review OZY Fusion Fest last year. I called it a festival with a cool learning curve, and it was. IT was a brilliant idea to blend some of the most intriguing societal, tehcnological,political, and environmental analysts in the world with music acts that aim to have positive social impacts. When you wanted to fulfill your mind, you watched Issa Rae or Dambisa Mayo, or when you wanted to hear good music/ receive a kick of adrenaline, you watched Andra Day or Will. I. AM. Those options made OZY Fusion fest one of, if not, the only festival out there to give a full sensory/ mindful experience. You were, inevitably, learning and growing from all the music and motivations throughout the day, and 2017 is looking even better.
