When the first comment to you song is ¨I love this song,¨ that is exciting! It may seem simple, but in this world attention is hard to get, and Late Again deserves it very easily.

Chick´n Tenders makes me want to kick my feet like I am Molly Ringwald in Pretty In Pink. I just want to swing dance in my room, until my gameboy needs new batteries and a new season of Miami Vice comes out. It is a simple, synth laced track that can go on a hypnotic repeat. Seriously, it should be 1 hour looped.

Late Again is the alter ego of Brazilian-born, Brooklyn-based artist and creative Rafael Melo, a restless multi-hyphenate whose work exists in the space between worlds. When describing his song,

“Chick’n Tenders is an ironic uplifting love song written to chicken tenders. It’s also a song about unrequited human love while being an expat who’s feeling like he doesn’t belong anywhere on a gloomy Sunday evening. Mostly, it’s an ode to fried chicken though.” He adds, “I think it’s funny how chicken tenders taste exactly the same no matter where you are in the world. And how sometimes that’s all you need to feel at home for a second when nothing else can fill that void.”
