Diandra Interviews Stereo Jane: Sisters In Song

Over the last few weeks, I have gone on a whirlwind of thoughts about the world, and how, just before this crazy pandemic, nothing felt certain. I didn’t know too many people that didn’t have fear about the future or didn’t, at times, question whether they were in the right place within their life. To be frank, most of the people I know are artists, which is why the unknown this pandemic has brought is both daunting and defining. Moreover, it is why my Stereo Jane interview, filmed just before the outbreak, feels both nostalgic and telling.

Diandra Interviews Stereo Jane: Sisters In Song

For Stereo Jane, their music is a pop-rock flare that echoes 90’s female badasses in giving ladies empowerment. From Alanis Morrissette to Gwen Stefani, these two sisters, Sydney and Mia Schmier, feel stylistic in every way: from sound to fashion. Their ability to be memorable is partly why I love this interview and wish them THE BEST during these crazy times, especially when they so openly declared the stage as their happy place. Yet, before they went on, they would have to confront a world of social media, artist insecurities, and an industry that does not always feel like a song. In our interview, we discuss how their sisterly bond protects them in business and pushes them as creatives. For More Information On Stereo Jane Click Here.
