My Artist Influence: Grace Gardner Will Not ¨Deny¨ Its Hard Being A Teacher

The future is bright for music. I really feel that because so many of us can manifest and make our reality whatever we want thanks to social media and a general feeling that the world can no longer be vital to your well-being. For Grace Gardner, a teacher mixing and mastering her tracks on Logic, her dreams became an escape valve from the very real fear all of us have that our ¨real job will somehow block our futures. 

Everybody has a ¨real job¨ to support their fantasy, economically. Yet, the cost of time and emotional fuel in what you do to, eventually, do what you want can be discouraging. It is like you put yourself on a hamster wheel until one day you can get off to walk the red carpet. In ¨Deny,¨ Grace uses her sound to emotionally purge the mental anguish of feeling like you are not close to where you should or want to be. Frankly, this feeling is so freakin relatable, I’m unsurprised TikTok is picking up her jams.
