Hayley Williams turns “Nineteen” into an electro love letter that shimmers Tegan And Sara as songwriters, while City And Color’s “Hop And Plane” reveals how perfect their music can be for acoustic versions and the folksy melancholia. These ladies know how to make a song brim with loss, but also the hope for another gain, especially at love.
