Concert Review: Jungle Giants Tear Through Bowery

While on recording, Jungle Giants certainly bring the groove, in their show, they bring the rock. Bowery Ballroom danced the night away, and Jungle Giants proved it takes a high level of musicianship and your inner rock-star, as an artist, to make a dance-floor feel like a legitimate necessity.
The Jungle Giants – Heavy Hearted (OFFICIAL)

When you look at the history of clubbing, there have been those that have mocked dancing in the night or artists that aim to groove an audience rather than challenge them with deep thoughts and deeper feelings. Yet, feeling light is a benefit and a must for life. It can’t all just be a giant “stress-test.” With this in mind, lead singer Sam Hales has this B-52 quality to his voice and swag that makes you want Rock Lobster the night away. He bounces and seams his voice as if doesn’t know whether a lyrics is meant to be sewn or swung, which adds to the dynamism of Jungle Giants being REALLY GOOD MUSICIANS!
The Jungle Giants – Sending Me Ur Loving (OFFICIAL)

Yes, Jungle Giants are a ball of encouragement, like the Soul Cycle Instructors pumping you up to spin till your happy with your life choices, but, if you stand still,  you will be SHOOKETH at how good and elaborate Jungle Giants are in style and capacity to make you funk. It is something I saw with Louis Cole, another one of the most vivacious shows to turn your night into day; performers that are so unique and vibrant in experience they show you a good time is not cheap. It takes a lot to come up with a rhythmic arrangement that enters your soul and make happily fiddle around as if we love feeling like puppets to LIFE. Yet, from tracks like, “On Your Way Down” and “Used To Be In Love” or “She’s A Riot” and “Sending Me Ur Loving,” they lyrically showed life owns us, but we can own LIVING!
