Concert Preview: OZY Fusion Fest Is Bringing Everything To NYC

One of my favorite festivals is coming back to Rumsey Playfield on July 10 and 21: OZY FUSION Fest. I have been going since its very beginning, and it always stood out within the festival circuit for being calm and well-organized. That is not easy when you consider that this fest includes political discussion and food amongst the many things it serves its crowd. 

From top chef tastings to insomnia cookies and pizza, OZY keeps its crowd fed throughout the day, but it is its ability to hold deep, bipartisan discussions that keeps you full. You get the top Dem, Reps, and everyone in-between coming to discuss their views of America’s current state. Moreover, you get other top thinkers from the tech, economic, arts and sciences’ world to give “ted talks” on how the future of the world still has hope. 

OZY Fusion Fest is both stimulating and soothing in how it combines various worlds to teach and entertain its audience. This year is no different because it is bringing musical acts like John Legend and Miguel, along with HILARIOUS comedians such as Trevor Noah and Dulcé Sloan to perform. Also, Deepak Chopra, SPIKE LEE, and Stacey Abrams are coming to spread their wisdom upon NYC. I CANT EVEN DEAL WITH THE EXCITEMENT! In addition, OZY Fusion Fest is brought to you by the OZY organization, which has phenomenal TV Shows and podcasts such as, Take On America.
