Concert Review: Quarters of Change Are MANIFESTING!!!!!

I am, low-key, laughing at myself because, despite interviewing them, I had no idea what to expect from Quarters of Change show. The signs were there; they are a pack of lovable goof-balls that rib each other into laughs and songs that try to “out-fun” the last one. At Bowery, they became an example of something that seems to be sweeping through TikTok…… manifestation.

Okay! I am obsessed with the TikTok Manifestation corner because “mentalities” fascinate me, especially the ones that are easy-going. No, I am not a maniac, but I am an over-thinker, and though I am sure that most people are, as well, the perks of Quarters of Change is that they feel like they have “room in their head.” They sing to life as if, amidst all the noise and chatter we carry in our brains, they were born with an added headspace for rest. In that little, internal “mental game room,” they makes song for those us that wish we could upgrade our mind’s space from condo to McMansion.

Okay, here is where I get to the manifestation part. As sang and the guys played to and with the audience, I thought about the belief that “manifestation” is about visualizing your dreams because you are already “your dream.” In essence, they never felt like they did not belong on the stage or ever had a moment that was not pre-destined for that night at Bowery. Frankly, I loved it. There is apart of me that wishes I could walk into rooms as if I had always been in them, and for Quarters of Change, and their music, that is the point: if you are on earth, you are in the room…. so have a blast. For More Info On Quarters of Change Click Here.
