Concert Review: Rexx Life Raj Is A King In Chelsea
I am going to come clean here. I wanted to see Rexx Life Raj because he was Kehlani approved, and she is one of my FAVE artists. Hence, who you collaborate with does matter in giving you clout and notice. Kehlani is a ripe blend of Hip Hop, R&B, and chill, of which, with glowing clouds surrounding hims, Rexx Life Raj was the same.
Let’s start this review with Rexx Life Raj’s voice. Similar to Kehlani, it is particularly harmless. It is soft, melodic, and feels like it can be wounded but never wound, which is what listeners are seeking its their artists in contrast to the world.RLR feels perfect for rising generations eager to hear as much about social justice as they do sensuality in their music. There is no other music that shows how badly we want to love someone and how scary it is that the world might not love you back then Hip Hop, but recent its iterations have simmered its passions down with an electro base that makes it shimmery. Hence, Rexx Life Raj is a welcome to world of 6LACK, H.E.R, and Jhene Aiko.

Rexx Life Raj’s rap flow is so easy and conscious that it feels like something else. It goes beyond spoken word, although it is poetical and even political. Yet, again, the casualness of his verses deliveries feels beyond known titles. The only thing I can truly call it is “cool” and subtly educational. The crowd ate Raj’s lyrics like they were full meals sent by Grubhub for their souls. Yet, as Rexx Life Raj sang/ rapped to societal prejudices and social pressures, the crowd absorbed his though-provoking words and images like they were Fashion’s hottest new item. He had made true mindfulness a staple for influence and that is powerful.

I 100% Rexx Life Raj’s career, and I know he is going to MASSIVE! Now, more then ever, being socially woke and personally smooth is required to be an influential artist. Why? Because fans are following artist’s lives and ideologies as much as their songs. Thus, as people bounced and danced like Chelsea Music Hall was a bag and were were the candy jiggling within it, I was happy to see Rexx Life Raj as a rising artists and cultural shaper.
