Concert Review: Cannons Shoot For The Sky At Paramount Theater
There is a dire shortage of whimsy. People crave magic and the feeling that Tinkerbell will fairydust their lives post 9-5 workdays. Hence, the crowd at Paramount Theater was eager for a Cannons experience, whom entered the stage like they were the headliners.
Lead singer Michelle Joy moves like the epitome of divine femininity: a gentle, rock goddess . Her presence is such a ripe blend of ethereal and musicality: stretching throughout the stage like Athena about to toss an arrow, which in many ways she does. Finally, finishing off their newest album, to be out soon, the tour is kind of like a revving of the wheels for a year/ new music that promises to only bring them more fame and acclaim from their devoted fans.
¨Can you give me their setlist?¨asked an avid fan from me; acting as if that piece of paper was made of gold. When it comes to sound, Cannons certainly have a golden shine. They feel like a mellow, No Doubt: rhythmic, groovy, and chill. Hence, their set breezed with tracks such as, ¨Purple Sun,* ¨Desire,¨ and, of course, ¨Fire For You,¨ and a crowd that guzzled every synth wave like it was synth wine.
Personally, I love whimsy artists: ones that match magic with seduction. Cannons provides songs that reverb love starts passion and desire. For More Info on Cannons Click Here.
