DIANDRA PREVIEWS: Party To Protect The Planet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ARE YOU READY TO PARTY FOR CHARITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yup! I am! Though I cannot say I have heard that catch-phrase at too many events. Yet, it is a nice one, especially when it is one dedicated to protecting our home: Earth.  I still cannot believe that people think Global Climate Change is either unreal or not a big deal. When you lose your home, you are homeless, but when you lose the earth, you are dead. Thus, come to Party To Protect The Planet on April 25 to save Mother Nature, and also enjoy some really great activities.

Tattoo to the Protect the Planet kicks off in the afternoon on April 25 with a squad of volunteer tattoo artists from the Magic Cobra Tattoo Society, who will take over Magick City in Brooklyn to give some black ink, earth-themed flash tattoos for $60 a pop, alongside performances by jazz musician Ian Wayne, ethereal-metal-folk sounds from The Wandering Cellist and  saxophonist and jazz composer Stan Killian. Jazz and Tattoos for Mother Earth…. sounds good to me! Then, Party to Protect the Planet continues into the evening at Saint Vitus Bar with on-site artists, raffle prizes of goods, events and services, drink specials, Phillip Gulley of BeSide Digital creating Multi-Media Projection Art, live art by Lesley Brown, a unique photo booth experience from Adam Courtney of Forgotten Works Studio and other surprises to fill the night along with performances by Abraham King, fuzz rockers Dead Stars, the indie-pop of Future Generations and soulful duo She Keeps Bees, working the stage before headliners, the electro Molinari brothers of French Horn Rebellion.
