LAMC Preview 2022: Wellness In The Music Industry

LAMC has always shined in both Latin Representation, obviously, Latin American Music Convention, but I do sincerely feel it is one of the most valuable festivals for entrepreneurship. Its complete balance of fun and education is rarely replicated, in part, because A) Latinos know how to have a good time B) Our music is exceptional; so the live shows are lit. C) We have each other’s back, and that means, especially in learning business.

Happening between July 6 to the 9 at the Stewart Hotel, kust a few months after its virtual summit, LAMC return live and in person since 2020. Yes, after two years away from NYC, the festival is spear-heading with a 4 day extravaganza that promises an introduction of the newest waves of Latino artists, fantastic shows splashed across the city, and some of the most important panels you will hear in building your music career.

While LAMC is always empowering, its Virtual Event this year grasped the fantasy and fatigue of making it in an industry that is still on survival mode. Going full digital, our online presences have become vital to our livelihood’s sustainability, but that does not mean we are happy or healthy for it. On the contrary, people are having emotional and mental reckoning trying to figure out what they want from life, especially in terms of career. This is VERY true for artist, and LAMC understood that this is both the best and worst time to become one.

On one hand, there are less guarantees that you will make it as an artist. On another, there are less guarantees that you will make it as anything. In a way, you are more free to be who you want to be, and LAMC 2022 gives you the resources and encouragement you need to be it. Thus year, they are bringing an event that is not only focused on music and its business, but the wellness it takes to approach both. Check out the lineup and panels below, and BUY TICKETS HERE!
