I am a HUGE Beth Ditto Fan. From The Gossip to now her ,upcoming solo debut, Fake Sugar, I support this marvelous woman because she is always a force to reckon. From the tracks released so far, Fake Sugar is looking to be a strong debut from a songstress that has already shown me true power comes from inside. Her latest single, We Could Run, is a beautifully tender plea that presents love as an escape. As Ditto belts “We Could Run”, you want to put on your running shoes and book it to nowhere/ somewhere/ everywhere. She has a voice that busts in vulnerability and emotionality. I cannot recall one song of hers that did not latch onto a feeling for dear life and thus gave its listeners a sense of life.
