Song Review: San Holo Will Show You The “Light”

Coming off the rush of the Elements festival, I am certainly eager for electronica that blends the electricity of sound with that of the human spirit. San Holo’s “Light” might be the track to build said bridge. Like Bleachers, San Holo is using music as a driver for inner light, and I am HERE for it. The simple, atmospheric synths sparkle like floating fireflies as the song, lyrically, observes the trek to see the light of the world no matter how much darkness tries to impede you. Such a powerful message is needed in this world, and the Dutch Artist, intelligently, filmed the video for “Light” in Kiev, Ukraine; a place where youth are currently struggling against politics for personal peace.
