Concert Review: American Authors Could Win Pulitzers At Webster

Currently, on the Band of Brothers Tour, American Authors have united forces with Magic Giant, and the result is a show that is PURE POSITIVE VIBES. If you are a miserable person that fights happiness away like Muhammad Ali, please do not attend. This show is good vibes only, which is why misery had no company at Webster Hall.
American Authors – Bring It On Home ft. Phillip Phillips, Maddie Poppe

On their own, American Authors brought the house down with their roughed and rebelled demeanor. They feel like a group of guys that grabbed their instruments, bought their uncle’s old van, and said, “Well boys, we better make it big because we are never coming back home.” They have an energy of urgent fun; as if they need to make the stage their home because all they know is the open road, which is such an enamoring, “troubadour” effect. Part of why we love those traveling, singing guitarists is because they feel like the most aimless person to have a goal: a man or woman living by their wishes rather than their routines. Such a dynamic dominated American Authors set, which is why their union with Magic Giant felt like the end of the world; people were so happy they could have left EARTH!
American Authors & Seeb – Best I Can (Official Audio)

When Magic Giant and American Authors came together, there were so many rhythms and smiles on stage that it was infectious. They are truly bands of brothers that fill the room with peace and camaraderie, and they match well together. Magic Giant’s Austin Bisnow floats like sage on the stage: giddily and dreamily. Meanwhile, Zac Barnett is your titular rock-star. He is coolly and collectedly exuberant; owning is his rustic vocals with a classic confidence. Together, they feel made to tell this generation some good ol’ fashion folk tales on love, friendship, and the choices that come in between. For More Information On American Authors Click Here.
