Concert Review: Olivia Noelle Is Bringing Britney Vibes
Olivia Noelle was BOUND to stand out opening for Hippie Sabotage, in part, because she is a singer. Amongst a barrage of EDM stars, she popped out like a pop princess on the rise; even decked out in a modernize, “Britney-esque” outfit. If Britney Spears said “I’m A Slave 4 U” then Olivia Noelle is commanding you to get “High For Me.”
Crazy how time changes! If in the “Britney era of pop”, girls offered themselves on platters, there are current, cultural shifts declaring that women should be getting the offers. hat was the feeling Olivia Noelle handed in her brief but impactful set. It was as if she wanted to give the crowd a taste of her “champagne pop”, bubbled R&B in hopes to ignite their desire to buy the musical bottle. Ignite, she did!
Olivia Noelle – High for Me (Lyric Video) ft. Kid Ink
While on stage, Olivia appeared like a Cosmic Kween, with silver, thigh-high boots that were probably hand-sewn in Jupiter, but off it she was so casual. She hugged her new fans, whom despite hearing her for the first time, felt eager to inform her that she was good. It was a nice note that proved two things: 1) hard work can pay off 2) you give what you receive. Those “newbies” to her sound would not have been so open in saying they enjoyed her show had they not felt like she was someone who appreciated connection, which her music displays.
Olivia Noelle – Faking It (Official)
From “Made of Gold” to “Faking It”, Olivia Noelle lyrically sheds every time we put our own needs, wants, and perspectives to the side because we believed our silence was more pleasing than our voice. Yet, what is the point of being pleasing, if you are unpleased? It is a powerful message that gets backed by popping rhythms and Olivia’s throwback vocals. Honestly, if someone did a movie looking for classic R&B, 90’s pop singers, I would say, “HIRE OLIVIA!” Her vocality was made for this golden age of music, but the fact that we haver he now builds her star-power. She combines everything we love about the retro- Britney era with today’s encouragement of women asking themselves what they want from men. For More Information On Olivia Noelle Click Here.
