Concert Review: San Holo Is The Light At Terminal 5

San Holo is one of the best EDM shows you will ever see because he, literally, enjoys himself. San Holo dances to his own beat, and becomes the literal embodiment of the belief that every person has their rhythm, and, at Terminal 5, he literally played what is in his head.

There are those that make songs, and those that feel songs are literally constructing their being. From how he picked up his guitar to wail it over the crowd like he was Carlos Santana giving sonic goodie-bags away to how he shook by his mix-table like a EDM tribesmen, San Holo’s connection with his music is on a mindful level. You are hearing him in every song, and you like him! It was as if the beat cracked his brain open, and released all his colorful thoughts, which in turn built the beat rhythm. It was pure symbiosis, and the audience felt it.
San Holo – album1 (Full)

San Holo acts like he is apart of the crowd, which makes us apart of him. It is as if we all decided to have a house party, and, by chance, it was at Terminal 5. In an odd way, it redefined inclusivity. We think this term means bringing people together, despite there differences, but its about bringing people together to see their sameness. Everybody, including San Holo, wanted to have the most carefree, fun time of their life, and San Holo’s mix does that.San Holo may be a DJ and producer, but he is also a singer and optimist. The latter two are the most important for distinguishing his career.

More producers are becoming artists, but the transition is not always smooth. After all, you can make the music, but can you present it? San Holo has the charm and positivity to become a full-blown, dynamic singer and guitarist. From “Light” to “Everything Matters,” his set felt like someone called you on a bad day and said, “You are amazing! It is going to get better!” Frankly, we all need a spiritual uplift so that we can remain physically/ materially functional. When heart shuts down, our mind and body are next. San Holo arranges his beats like they twinkle; as if even the heaviest bass or lighting synth must shine. The result is a show that may leave you tired with how much you dance, but it will leave you smiling with how good you feel. For More Information On San Holo Click Here.
