Concert Review: UNIIQU3 Is A Club Kween At The House of YES!
UNIIQU3 turned the House of Yes into a House of YAAASSSSS!!!!! When the event is called Booty Bass Boom, you should KNOW you are about to have A NIGHT! House of Yes has always been home for those of us that deem ourselves fabulous outcasts, and it was absolutely befitting that one of the HAWTEST club acts did a set for the night. UNIIQU3, by all means, is a club KWEEN!
With the rise of “No F**ks Given” acts like Cardi B, Bibi Bourelly, Migos, and Stefflon Don, I do not find it surprising that more music is aimed for self-extravagance and self-protection. Look at the TIMES! When you feel like you are being silenced, you usually choose amongst two extremes: muteness or unwavering loudness. For UNIIQU3, if you are not tearing into another that has try to tear you down then you might as well tear into a runaway. The point is if the world is going to ignore you, then become your own planet. That type of mentality fit right into the voguing, lavishness of House of Yes, of which I almost died from the fabulousness of UNIIQU3’s insanity, along with feeling that she was an act of kismet. Talk about the perfect time to rise as a musical act aiming for craziness and Chanel. #cardib While the first time I heard of UNIIQU3 was through her excellent remix of Bodak Yellow, the woman has her own set of classics that could fit right into the Hip Hop club atmosphere.
As UNIIQU3 approached the stage as if it owed her money, jaws and feet dropped in dance. That aggressive, yet glamorous energy intoxicated club-goers eager to physically exude their inner passion the same, while also catching my attention in terms of the fun madness/ vocality of her tracks such as, “Tic Tac (feat Lambo) where the main lyric is “Booty So Fresh, They Call Me Tic Tac”. My literal reaction to said lyric:

Her sound is 100% flashy, frenetic, and fantastic, especially because it so NOW! “Trunk”, “Like Me”, and “The Anthem” belong in the Nightlife Hall of Fame as high energy soundscapes that completely fulfill clubbing’s initiative; escapism and dancing like this:
