Album Life Coaching – ¿Teo? Gives You The ¨Luna¨

¿Teo? Is just so smooth. Releasing his third album, Luna, he is a prime example of somebody who was always ahead in sound, and is now having the world reach where he already was. The LATINO IS OUT in his soundscape with lounge-jazz influences like Bossa Nova, Caribbean swag Vallenato, and elements of Cumbia, which all descend from his roots: Colombia. The result is a soundscape that feels uniquely soft, vibrant, and a total reminder that relationships can STAY dreamy… not just start.

¿Teo? In vibe feels like a cross between Omar Apollo and Drake: aesthetic, sentimental, and 100% rhythmic. He wants to the devour the world and in between his insatiable appetite lies the cracks and pitfalls of wanting a world that can be tricky with its own desires. In some ways, it makes sense the album is called Luna or rather Moon. This Entity has always represented light in darkness, but that darkness came in the form of fear, doubt, and struggles. It is why people wish upon stars and not clouds; we want the little light surrounded by darkness to keep lit our hopes and dreams.

Luna feels like it was made in Club Fantasy. It is feels as bombastic as being on the dance floor and as intimate as making out with your partner on the line to get a 2×1 beer. It just scopes the place for the range of emotions to either make you dance or sit and wonder and I like that. I have long asked myself what makes an artist memorable and special, and I think it is making yourself into a formula: figuring it how your specialness is commercial. ¿Teo? has done that brilliantly with Luna. The album is truly NO SKIPS!
